LG Q6, a mid-tier smartphone that offers the same slim bezel, almost edge-to-edge display, but at a price point that sets it in the budget device range.It's just a gorgeous front for a budget device, Overall the Q6 feels well in the hand -- it's even easier to hold.You only get a single 13-megapixel rear shooter. Also getting the ax is the Always On Display and fingerprint reader.LG attempts to compensate this with a Facial Unlock feature, which has been used in the device with the two settings.

The normal settings work really, really fast, but feels like it could be fooled by a photo.Camera: the 13-megapixel shooter, as mentioned, surprisingly good. It's very fast to sharpen and produces accurate colors with decent contrast. When we use Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Gmail, WhatsApp its fine, but when we tried to load the big games, it took a very long time to load.

The Q6 looks to be one of the more high-end looking (and feeling) mid-range phones available in 2017. This is one to keep an eye on.Its LCD display runs at 2160 x 1080, an odd resolution thanks to LG’s 18:9 aspect ratio, it looks very crisp and colorful.This phone is hefty in a way that’s reminiscent of a flagship device. Its brushed metal edges play a big role in that, giving off a high-end look and feel while also packing in the antenna array and the host of usual buttons and features: power and a volume rocker, as well as a headphone port and microUSB charging port.

The back of the phone, for example, feels like plastic instead of Gorilla Glass. This is par for the course in its price range, though another omission leaves the phone a little worse off than its midrange competition: there is face detection sensor.In terms of battery life, we should definitely see day-long performance out of its 3,000mAh cell. Photo samples and many of the results yield a good balance of color, lighting, and detail. But when the lights go out, this phone can't seem to keep up.
