Most of us were under the assumption that the Vernee Mars would be equipped with the latest chipset. However, what disappointed us was the Helio P10 chipset in the device, when MediaTek has already made its Helio P20 and Helio P25 official. Running a MediaTek Helio P20 or even P25 could have provided a lot of better hardware performance.
As far as the outer design is concerned, the Mars utilizes the metal unibody design that can be readily seen today on most premium smartphones. Its screen-to-body ratio is 81%. Vernee also proudly reveals the side bezels of the Mars are that are just 1mm thin.

Like most Samsung mobiles, the Vernee Mars is an octa-core mobile phone. However, it runs MediaTek Helio P10 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM. It also supports a 32 GB of internal native storage that can be expanded. The hybrid SIM mobile phone has dual slot support to insert two SIM cards or a SIM card and a microSD card.
Another notable factor about the phone is the fingerprint sensor placed on the side of the smartphone, next to the power and volume buttons. We find it to be a wise decision, as the consumers with smaller hands may find it difficult to operate by bring their fingers to the backside to unlock their phone. The sensor will reportedly unlock the device in 0.1s. However, we wonder if the same level of accuracy and pace is maintained.
As far as the updates about the phone are concerned, Vernee Mars UI will be an Android mobile that is said to operate pure Android OS. This means that the upcoming mobile shall receive timely security and operating system updates. So, the good news is that you can even get the Android Nougat 7.0 update on the device. However, Vernee keeps a hush on the matter.
The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with dual tone flash at the back. At the front, there is a 5MP selfie snapper utilizing a Samsung camera sensor.
