Acer announced the launch of its latest Acer Swift 5 laptop in India. The laptop comes with a 14.9mm thickness and weighs just 970 grams which makes it an ultra-thin and lightweight laptop to launch in the country. It runs on Windows 10 operating system with Cortana and comes with a price tag of Rs. 79,999.
The Acers Swift 5 laptop will be available in various online stores. It is powered by 8th generation Intel Core processors. The laptop flaunts a stylish build using a combination of magnesium-lithium alloy for the top and bottom, and magnesium-aluminium allow for the rest. The laptop is designed to look attractive and stylish.

The latest Acer laptop comes with 14-inch Full-HD IPS-Pro display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Moreover, the narrow bezels around the display reduce the overall footprint of the laptop. Also, the display features Acer’s very own Color Intelligence technology which optimises colour, screen brightness and saturation.
As mentioned above, the Acer Swift 5 laptop which is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors is coupled with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB internal storage. Additionally, it is further fuelled by a 4670mAh battery which can provide 8 hours of battery backup.
The laptop also comes with Acer TrueHarmony sound boost technology with Dolby Audio which provides users with clear and powerful audio. In addition to that, the laptop sports a 720p front-facing camera for video calls along with a digital microphone. The company also claims that the laptop can carry out smooth conference video calls along with Microsoft digital assistant Cortana.
Furthermore, the connectivity options for the laptop include 2×2 802.11ac Wi-Fi, a backlit keyboard, two USB 3.0 ports, and one USB Type-C port. The laptop also features a Windows Hello fingerprint sensor to provide additional security to the users.
The Acer Swift 5 laptop weighs 970 grams and measures 328.9×228.1x1x14.9mm. This makes it one of the lightest laptop to launch in India. Earlier, during the CES 2018, Acer launched the world’s thinnest laptop with a thickness of only 8.98mm.
