ZTE Blade V8 Leaked Ahead of CES 2017

The dual camera setup will no longer be a premium feature for smartphones as ZTE mobiles is set to launch an affordable phone with such feature. The Chinese smartphone maker, ZTE is expected to offer dual rear camera setup on its upcoming Blade V8 smartphone.

The ZTE Blade V8 smartphone has been leaked on the company’s own website in high definition images ahead of its announcement at the upcoming CES 2017. The leaked image reveals a premium look with the sleek aluminum body. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded in a home button, 3.5mm audio jack along with USB Type-C connector.

The dual rear camera setup is the key highlight of the ZTE Blade V8 smartphone. The rear panel is said to feature a 13MP and 2MP camera sensors with dual-LED flash, HDR, and PDAF. One image hints a 13MP selfie camera on the front of the device.

The ZTE Blade V8 will compete with other dual-lens camera smartphones likes of recently launched Coolpad Cool 1, Honor 8, and the upcoming Honor 6X smartphones.

According to the leaked details, the ZTE Blade V8 will feature a 5.2-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It will come equipped with a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of onboard storage. It will run on ZTE’s MiFlavor UI 4.0 over Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The device will be 7.7mm thick in size.

The ZTE Blade V8 is expected to be made official on January 3, at a press conference at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. The smartphone is expected to be priced around $399 (roughly Rs 27,000) or less.

A ZTE smartphone has been spotted on GFXBench and TENNA certification recently called as the ZTE BV0800. The ZTE BV0800 will be available in three variants based on the RAM and internal storage- 2GB RAM+16GB storage, 3GB RAM+32GB storage, and 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage. It will feature a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display powered by a Snapdragon 430 chipset and Adreno 505 GPU. The ZTE BV0800 is believed to be the ZTE Blade V8 as the specifications of both devices are similar.
