Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Spotted Online: Specifications, Features, More

Xiaomi mobiles is rumored to be working on a new smartphone called as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. It will be a successor to its predecessor Redmi Note 4. The Redmi Note 4X was leaked earlier on Weibo and now the phone has cleared the TENNA certification.

According to the TENNA listing, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The listing also included images of the upcoming device which resembles with previous Redmi Note series mobiles. As per the listing, the Redmi Note 4X will come in two variants- 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor but the device is expected to come with Snapdragon 653 processor in India as Xiaomi can’t sell MediaTek processor-based devices in India due to the legal disputes with Ericsson.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X

The listing further disclosed that the smartphone will be offered in 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage variants. Moreover, the storage can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will offer a 13MP primary rear camera alongside an 8MP selfie snapper. It will be a fingerprint scanner mobile wherein the sensor will come embedded in the physical home button of the device.

The Redmi Note 4X will be powered by a 4000mAh battery and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The connectivity options on the device include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Infrared, micro USB, GPS/A-GPS, and Bluetooth. The handset measures dimensions at 151×76.3×8.54mm and weighs 176.54 grams.

While the Redmi Note 4X is coming soon, the Redmi Note 4 is yet to arrive in the Indian market. The Redmi Note 4 is expected to come to India in early 2017. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor paired with Mali T880 MP4 GPU, 2GB/3GB of RAM, and 16GB/64GB of internal storage.

On the camera front, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 offers a 13MP primary rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. Up front, the Redmi Note 4 offers a 5MP selfie camera with 85-degree wide angle lens.
