Xiaomi has just launched a new smartphone under its Note series called as the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 in an event. The company has also released its bezel-less Mi Mix 2 along with the Mi Note 3. The newly launched Mi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch Full-HD display, Ai-based Beautify feature, and a 4-sided curved body.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will be made available in the Chinese market from September 15, while the pre-bookings will begin from Monday itself. Previously, Lin Bin who is the co-founder of Xiaomi shared the teaser images of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 via his Weibo account.
Xiaomi Mi Note 3: Price
The prices of Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will start at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 24,500) for 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage model. The 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model is priced at CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs 28,400) for Black colour option, whereas the Blue colour model costs CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 29,500).
Xiaomi Mi Note 3: Specifications
The Mi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 403ppi pixel density. The display comes with a 94.4 percent NTSC colour gamut. The latest Xiaomi mobile is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM.
On the camera department, the Mi Note 3 offers a dual rear camera module containing two 12MP sensors. One sensor among the dual camera setup packs a wide-angle lens, 4-axis OIS, f/1.8 aperture, whereas the other sensor is a telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture.
The dual camera setup is competent to get up to 2x optical zoom, 4K video recording, and PDAF. At the front, there is a 16MP selfie shooter with 2-micron pixels. The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 offers 64GB or 128GB internal storage options; however, there is no microSD card slot present on the device. The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS powered by MIUI 9.
The Mi Note 3 is a dual SIM mobile and comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, GPS/A-GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity options. The sensors on board will include an accelerometer, digital compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and an infrared sensor. The handset measures dimensions at 152.6×73.95×7.6mm and weighs 163 grams. A 3500mAh battery completes the package.

The key highlight feature of the Mi Note 3 is its ‘Adaptable AI Beautify’ feature. The feature incorporates AI-based algorithms which can differentiate men and women to beautify the selfies using different algorithms. The phone features a 7-series aluminium alloy frame. Moreover, the smartphone has a under-glass fingerprint sensor.
