After the launch of Xiaomi Mi Max in May, the Chinese conglomerate announced a new variant of the Mi Max for its three-day Diwali event, the Xioami Mi Max Prime. Xiaomi is expected to offer flash deals, discounts and new product launches during the carnival sale. The most notable announcement is the launch of the Mi Max Prime in India retailed for Rs. 19,999 during this sale.
Specifications at a Glance
The dimensions measure at 173.1×88.3×7.5mm and the smartphone weighs at 203 grams. The Mi Max Prime has a better CPU, more RAM, and plenty of storage. The new handset has got a couple of extra cores as it runs Snapdragon 652 over the Snapdragon 650 which was mostly found in the Mi Max. With the added horsepower, the cell phone offers 4GB of RAM instead of 3GB RAM. It also offers option to further expand memory via a microSD slot to 128GB up from 32GB.
The huge 6.44 incher smartphone offers display at 1080p. It is a dual SIM mobile that sports a 16MP main camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), f/2.0 aperture, and LED flash. The 5MP front facing selfie camera comes with 85-degree wide-angle view. Powered by a 4,850 mAh battery, the mobile runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 with MIUI 7.

The only difference between the Xiaomi mobiles – Mi Max and Mi Max Prime is the processor, RAM, and internal storage. All the other specification details and dimensions remain the same.
The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime is a 4G VoLTE mobile that supports Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS with Glonass, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac with Mimo.
