Intex mobiles has announced yet another budget mobile in Indian market called as Aqua Eco 3G which is listed on company’s official website at a price of Rs 2,400. While most of the smartphone makers are engaged in 4G devices, Intex still focusing on budget mobiles that supports 3G network. The release of 3G smartphone might be the company’s move to target the first-time smartphone users.
The Intex Aqua 3G smartphone features a 4-inch (480×800 pixels) display with 235ppi pixel density. The device is equipped with MediaTek MTK6572 processor clocked at 1.0GHz.The device seems outdated due to its Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. However, considering the price and the specifications the device offers, the Intex Aqua Eco 3G could be the most affordable android smartphone under the sub-Rs 2500 segment.
The Intex Aqua Eco 3G smartphone is speed by 256MB of RAM and has internal storage of 512MB which could get extended up to 32GB via microSD card. For photography, the device has a 0.3MP VGA camera setup at its back panel with dual LED flash and a 0.3MP VGA camera at the front panel for selfies.
The Aqua Eco 3G smartphone is powered by a 1400mAh Li-Ion battery which is claimed to deliver a talk time of up to 5 hours and a standby time of up to 220 hours by the company. Besides, the budget mobile offers connectivity options such as dual-SIM, 3G, USB 2.0, G-sensor, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, GPS, Bluetooth, and 3.5mm audio jack.
To recall, Intex has launched the Aqua Eco 4G smartphone in India in August this year for a price of Rs 3,649. The key highlights of the smartphone are its Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 2MP primary rear camera and 4G connectivity.
The Intex Aqua Eco 4G has a similar 4-inch display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with a 512MB of RAM. The Smartphone has onboard storage of 4GB which can be upgraded to 32GB via microSD card. It packed a 1400mAh battery. The smartphone is now available on eBay and retail stores across the country.
The newly launched Intex Aqua Eco 3G smartphone is listed on company’s website but the details of its availability is yet to be received.
