Xiaomi‘s CEO Lei Jun has recently stated that the Mi 6 smartphone will be launched later this month and now specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 6 have been leaked online ahead of the launch. Two different colour models of Mi 6 have been spotted in leaked product boxes.
According to the leaked boxes, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be offered in White and Black colour options. The black model is expected to be the higher-end variant of Mi 6 which will feature a 30MP primary rear camera. On the other hand, the white colour variant is believed to be the base variant of the device. Both the smartphones will pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
Moreover, the higher-end variant is expected to be called as the Pro variant of Mi 6 with a 5.15-inch display. As mentioned on the box, it will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will have an 8MP selfie shooter at the front. It is a dual-SIM mobile. It will pack a 4000mAh battery and a USB Type-C charging port.

On the other hand, the base variant of the Xiaomi Mi 6 will feature a 5.15-inch display wrapped under a 2.5D glass with a coating on top. The device will include 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device will offer a 12MP primary rear camera alongside a 4MP selfie snapper at the front. A 3200mAh battery will complete the package.
The earlier reports of Mi 5’s successor suggested that it will be launched in three variants. The first model in the Mi 6 series will boast an Helio X30 processor and will cost $290 (roughly Rs 19,000). The other two models were rumoured to pack Snapdragon 835 processor. They are said to feature 4GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM + 256GB of storage. They are expected to cost $360 (roughly Rs 23,500) and $434 (roughly Rs 28,200) respectively.
It is worth mentioning that these are just rumours and leaks about the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone and the official confirmation from the company is about to receive. The company hasn’t even confirmed whether two or three variants of the device will be launched at the time of release.
