The Samsung Galaxy On5 2017 was recently spotted via a Wi-Fi certification authority, Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) and now the smartphone has appeared on the Chinese certification website, TENNA. A Samsung mobile carrying a model number SM-G5528 has appeared on Wi-Fi listing earlier and now it has now passed the Chinese certification.
Samsung Galaxy On5 2017: Specifications
In India, the company had released its Samsung Galaxy On5 2016 smartphone last year as the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime in India. According to the TENNA listing, the Samsung Galaxy On5 2017 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The handset will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, and up to 128GB of external storage via microSD card.
For photography, there will be a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter. The device will have a 2600mAh battery. There is a physical home button on the device which might also be work as the fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It will come in Gold colour option.

The connectivity option on the Samsung Galaxy On5 2017 includes dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, micro USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, and GPS/A-GPS. The phone will measure dimensions at 142.8×69.5×8.1mm and weighs 143 grams. It will have distance sensor and Gravity sensor pre-equipped on it.
The other information about the Samsung Galaxy On5 2017 is scarce at the moment. The price and official launch details of the upcoming mobile are expected to receive soon.
Earlier, the Wi-Fi certification revealed that the Samsung Galaxy On5 2017 will support Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz) connectivity features. Further, the listing revealed that the device will run on the Android operating system.
