Moto G5 Plus Press Render Leaked Hints Fingerprint Scanner at Front

Motorola is rumored to launch a new smartphone named as the Moto G5 Plus soon. Recently the live images of G5 Plus were been leaked on the internet and now a Weibo user shared the press images of the upcoming mobile. The press render shared by the Weibo user resembles with the image of the Motorola mobile that was leaked earlier this week. The press render was first spotted by Techdroider.

The leaked press render of Moto G5 Plus again indicates a fingerprint scanner at the front. Also, the smartphone will have a circular camera panel at the rear panel. The iconic brand logo ‘M’ can be seen on the rear panel below the circular camera sensor. The press render suggested that the Moto G5 Plus smartphone will be offered in Silver color.

The Moto G5 Plus is rumored to be codenamed as a XT1685 device which will have a 5.5-inch display octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and Adreno 506 GPU inside.

The Moto G5 Plus was listed on a Romanian website recently for sale at a price of RON 1,650 (roughly Rs 26,500). Later, the listing of Moto G5 Plus was pulled down addressing that the details of the smartphone might not be true.

Coming to the specifications, the Moto G5 Plus is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It will come equipped with a Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The handset will boast a 3080mAh battery. For the imaging purpose, the Moto G5 Plus will offer a 13MP primary rear camera with dual LED flash alongside a 5MP front facing the camera. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.

The Moto G5 Plus smartphone is expected to get release alongside the Moto G5 smartphone, as per several reports. Both the Moto G5 and G5 Plus are likely to be priced the same as the Moto G4 and G4 Plus.
