The LG G6 smartphone has been recently launched in India which will compete with other flagship devices like Samsung Galaxy S8. The new LG G6 will be made available via Amazon India and offline retail stores from April 25. The pre-orders for the device has been started from past few days and the early adopters will get cashback of up to Rs 7000 and a discount offer on wireless headset called LG Tone Active+ HBS-A100.
The LG G6 is launched in India for a price of Rs 51,990 (MOP). On Amazon India, the users can avail cashback of Rs 10,000 when they make a purchase using HDFC and SBI credit card on April 25. Further, the company has 50 percent discount offer on the LG Tone Active+ HBS-A100 wireless headset. The discount offer is valid until May 31 on the LG headset. LG mobiles also bundled ‘EA Special Gifts’ coupon which will include 6 mobile games worth Rs 14,100.
For Reliance Jio users, the company has even added additional data benefits. The Jio subscribers will get 10GB of additional data every month when they make recharge of Rs 309, which translates a 100GB of additional data until March 2018.

Coming to the specifications, the LG G6 features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2880 pixels) FullVision Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, an 18:9 aspect ratio, a near bezel-less front panel, and DolbyVision HDR certification. The device comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and external storage up to 2TB via microSD card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with UX 6.0 skin on top.
For photography, the LG G6 offers a dual-camera setup at the rear with two 13MP sensors among which one captures wide-angle shots with f/2.4 aperture and 125-degree, and the other one captures the regular photographs with f/1.8 aperture and a 71-degree lens. The other photography features include OIS 2.0, PDAF, and EIS, Square camera mode, Hi-Fi Video recording, and multi-view. On the front, there is a 5MP wide-angle camera with a 100-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture.
The connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, USB Type-C 2.0, and Wi-Fi. The handset packs a 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device measures dimensions at 148.9×71.9×7.9mm and weighs 163 grams.
