Huawei Nova Officially Launched with 4GB RAM Variant

Huawei mobiles  introduced its two latest phones, Nova and Nova Plus last month in Berlin at IFA 2016. Now, the company has officially launched the Huawei Nova smartphone in China. Moreover, a new 4GB RAM variant has been launched by carrying a model number CAZ-AL10 with it.

The Huawei Nova smartphone was expected to get launched on October 6, but it missed the schedule and launched it recently in China. The Huawei Nova smartphone with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage is priced at 2099 Yuan which roughly translates Rs 20,800. The another variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at  2399 Yuan which roughly translates Rs 23,800.

The 3GB RAM variant is available in Champagne Gold and Bright Moon White color options, while the 4GB RAM variant is available in Champagne Gold and Rose Gold color variant. The reports are stating that the smartphone is currently available for purchase in China, while there is no word on the launch of the smartphone in other markets.

The latest mobile, Huawei Nova features a 5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 2.5D glass on top. The device gets the acceleration from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and comes with 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage options. The memory of the device can further expand up to 128GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Huawei Nova offers a 12MP primary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfies. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with Huawei’s own EMUI 4.1 UI on top. The connectivity option includes 4G, Bluetooth, micro USB port, GPS, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C. The device measure dimensions at 141.2×69.1×7.1mm and weighs 146 grams.

The Huawei Nova smartphone is now available in China only, and its India launch is expected to get soon. If the smartphone manages to get launched within a price range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 23,000 in India, then the Huawei Nova will compete with latest mobiles such as Lenovo Z2 Plus and Xiaomi Mi 5, based on the specifications and the price.
