Alcatel Idol 4 & VR headset set to Launch in India on December 8th

Alcatel mobiles unveiled its smartphones Idol 4 and Idol 4s at its pre-MWC 2016 event earlier this year. The company has already sent out invites for an event in India on December 8th, where the brand will be launching the Idol 4 Smartphone in India.

The Alcatel Idol 4 will be launched with a VR headset that marks its foray into the expansive VR space. Interestingly, the Smartphone is also re-branded as the BlackBerry DTEK50. This Blackberry mobile was launched in India for Rs. 21,990.

The Alcatel Idol 4 sports a glass back and a metal frame to add to the premium look of the phone. It is likely to be available in gold, rose gold, metal silver and dark gray color variants.

Gorgeous slick glass front, textured glass back, metal frame, symmetrical design and four premium color options make it a difficult task keeping your hands and eyes off the IDOL 4S.

The smartphone features an earpiece and microphone at both the top and bottom. This will allow the phone to be used in any orientation.

IDOL 4S is reversible in 3 ways. Pick it up in any direction and the user interface always rights itself. Turn it around and the right and left audio channels automatically adjust. Or face it face up or down and have the sound always comes out loud and clear.

The uniquely designed Idol 4 smartphone will display a customizable button called as the Boom key that can be used to control the camera, access the gallery, videos, music, games and more.
