Airtel has recently extended its surprise data offer for another three months. The Airtel postpaid users are eligible for the ‘Monsoon Surprise’ offer which offers 30GB data for three months. The users can avail the offer by downloading the Airtel TV app from Apple App Store for Apple mobiles or Google Play for Android mobiles.
Airtel was offering ‘Holiday Surprise’ offer for its postpaid users which expired on June 30. And now, the company has re-launched the offer as ‘Monsoon Surprise’ that provides additional 30GB data for three months (10GB each month). Certainly, the extended new offer is good news for mobile phone users. The offer extension will help the company to retain its postpaid users.

To get the Airtel Monsoon Surprise offer, users are required to download the Airtel TV app from Apple App Store or Google Play. After that, the postpaid users can claim the offer within the app.
Gopal Vittal who is the CEO at Bharti Airtel said in an email to the subscribers that the company is sending another shower of data to its customers. To claim the extra data benefits, the users need to avail the offer on My Airtel app after July 1, 2017, he added.
With ‘Airtel Monsoon Surprise’ offer, Airtel is giving another opportunity for its postpaid users to get additional 30GB data thanks to the extended offer. Airtel is not the only telco to extend the promotional offer. Previously, Reliance Jio has refreshed its promotional offers several times.
To recall, Reliance Jio initially offered free unlimited data with 4GB FUP limit and HD voice calls for its users under the ‘Jio Welcome Offer’. This offer ended on December 31, 2016. Later, the company launched ‘Happy New Year Offer’. This offer came with free unlimited data (1GB FUP limit) and HD voice calls till March 31, 2017.

Presently, Reliance Jio is offering 1GB data per day under its ‘Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan’ offer. The offer price is for Rs 309 and 2GB per day for Rs 509 plan. It’s worth mentioning that the Jio users who have opted for the Jio Prime membership get benefits for 3 months (3 billing cycles).
Vodafone Offers
Alternatively, Vodafone is offering free 9GB of data per months for three months to the users having a 4G mobile. To avail the free data benefits, the users will have to log in to the offer page. And then, register their mobile number and generate an OTP. The OTP is to be submitted and the offer will be activated.
