Xiaomi Redmi Pro with Deca Core Processor & 4GB RAM Launched

Xiaomi has just unveiled its latest Redmi series Smartphone the Redmi Pro. The Xiaomi Pro sports a brushed aluminum body with oblique edges, and a dual-camera set up at the back. As per the news the mobile phone will be available in Gold, Silver, and Dark Grey colour options.

Display & Design

The Redmi Pro flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD OLED display with a pixel density of 342ppi, 2.5D curved glass and 100% NTSC colour gamut. Camera

The Xiaomi Redmi Pro’s rear cameras include a 13-megapixel Sony sensor. Thanks to the dedicated DOF ImagiQ photo processor that offers hardware-level depth of field processing. You can capture a photo first and adjust the depth of field later. For selfies and video calling, the device gets a 5-megapixel camera with an 85-degree wide-angle lens and an f/2.0 aperture and Samsung sensor.

Operating System & Storage

The phone runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8. It is powered by a 2.5GHz deca-core with MediaTek Helio X25 SoC coupled with a Mali-T880 GPU. The three variants of the phone include 3GB of RAM + 64GB Storage, 4GB of RAM + 128GB Storage and 3GB of RAM + 32GB. Xiaomi says this makes the smartphone its ‘most powerful Redmi ever’. The dual SIM phone bears a hybrid (Nano-SIM + Micro-SIM) slot, with support for a microSD card (up to 128GB).

Battery & Connectivity

The Redmi Pro is fueled by a beefy 4,050mAh battery and weighs about 174 grams. Connectivity features on board include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Direct functionality, a USB Type-C port, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
