Featuring a 4000mAh battery and a metal body Xiaomi Redmi 3S and 3S Prime budget smartphones have been launched in India. Xiaomi had launched the Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime, priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime are all set for their fourth sale in India today at 12:00PM. Both smartphones will be available via e-commerce site Flipkart and Xiaomi’s official site mi.com. The good news is that the sale is an open sale where the registration won’t be required to buy the smartphones. So, hurry if you need to get hands on the device.
Both the Redmi 3s and the Redmi 3s Prime will be flying off the shelves as soon they go on sale. As per BGR, during the first sale, Xiaomi says 90,000 units of the Redmi 3s Prime were sold out in about 8 minutes. The another sale that took place on August 24, Redmi 3s Prime was sold out in just eight minutes on Flipkart. While both have similar specs, the Redmi 3s Prime comes with more onboard storage and RAM and also features a fingerprint scanner.
The Difference Between the Duo!
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime are identical, except for the memory and storage on board. The Redmi 3S also foregoes the fingerprint sensor on the Redmi 3S Prime model. The Redmi 3S (16GB inbuilt storage + 2GB of RAM) has been priced at Rs. 6,999. Another variant Redmi 3S Prime (32GB storage + 3GB of RAM) with a fingerprint scanner will retail at Rs. 8,999.
