Xiaomi Postpones the Launching of Mi Band 2 to June 2016

Xiaomi Inc., Chinese smartphone manufacturers, is rising in market tremendously. Xiaomi holds 3.5% of total share market. Samsung is leading with 19.4% followed by Micromax with 14.7%, Lenovo mobiles and Motorola with 10.1%, Intex with 8.2%, Lava with 7.1% and Apple with 4.6% of total shares. This brand owns many products under its name such as Mi phones, Redmi Phones, MiPad tablet series, Mi Bands, Mi Power Banks and accessories like Mi Headphones, Mi cables, etc. Started from Chinese market, Xiaomi managed to reach among the top brands globally.

Xiaomi has announced that they are all set to launch the Mi Band 2 in June 2016. Although previously it was to come in market in May 2016 but according to recent news by Xiaomi officials, it will be getting launched in June. Xiaomi, at its 10th May event, didn’t disclose much information about the wearable Mi band.

Mi Band 1 has functions where you can view real-time physical activity through mobile applications, monitoring the effect of walking and running, you can identify more sport through the clouds. Xiaomi bracelet can automatically determine sleep, deep sleep and light sleeps and summarizes sleep time to help users monitor their sleep quality. It perfectly supports Xiaomi3 / Xiaomi4 / Red Mi Note 4G and the battery can support 30 days backup.

Xiaomi Mobiles

The expectations from Mi Band 2 are much higher than Mi Band 1. It is expected to reduce the wearable’s dependence on the connected smartphone. Although the exact details are missing, Mi Band 2 will be showing time, heart rate (BPM), sleep, battery status and daily steps. The Mi Band 2 is also water and dust resistance just like its Mi Band 1.

Though postponed by a month, the launch of Xiaomi Mi Band 2, the fitness tracker, is awaited and hopefully to get into the market in June.
