Xiaomi has announced the launch of its Mi 8 series smartphones in the month of May in China. The company had announced the Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer and Mi 8 SE smartphones. Out of the three, Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is the most affordable and budget-friendly smartphone in the series. In fact, the Mi 8 SE smartphone is also going to be among the first budget smartphone to be designed with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 platform.
A new report claims that Xiaomi is launching a new storage variant of the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE smartphone. Earlier, the company had launched two variants of the smartphone. The first variant featured 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. And, the second variant featured 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage.
However, the new report claims that a third variant will also make an appearance and will sport 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The new variants will cost a little more than the other two variants. But, apart from that, there will be no other changes to the smartphone. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is among the top-awaited smartphones for being a budget smartphone with such high-end features.
Xiaomi Mi 8 SE: Specifications
The smartphone comes with a 5.88-inch AMOLED display. It will be made available in three storage variants and will run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. It will be further powered by a 3,120mAh battery with support for quick charging v 3.0.
On the camera end, the smartphone will feature a dual camera setup on the rear panel. The setup will include 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors, along with autofocus and dual-colour LED flash. On the front, the device will sport a 20-megapixel camera with soft light flash, which will make it a favourite among selfies lovers.
