Sansui Horizon 1 is the new Budget 4G VoLTE Smartphone in the Town

The Japanese OEM, Sansui has launched a new budget Android mobile in India with 4G VoLTE connectivity, called as the Sansui Horizon 1. The company has exclusively partnered with the leading online store Flipkart for the distribution of the device. The latest mobile is priced at Rs 3,999.

The Sansui Horizon 1 is a low-priced 4G VoLTE mobile with 2000mAh battery specification. The device will be available in Gold and Black colour option. The power button and the volume rockers are placed on the right edge of the device, while the micro USB port is housed at the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack is visible on the top edge of the smartphone. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Coming to the specifications, the Sansui Horizon 1 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixels resolution and 218pp pixel density. Under its hood, there lies a 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC9832 quad-core processor coupled with ARM Mali 400 MP2 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and option to further expand the storage up to 64GB via microSD card. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

On the camera department, the Sansui Horizon 1 offers a 5MP primary rear camera with autofocus, S5K5E8 sensor, and 30fps video recording features. The native camera app of the device comes with features like face detection, continuous shots, HDR, GIF camera, panorama, and slow motion recording. Up front, the smartphone has a 3.2MP selfie camera with video calling features.

The handset boasts a 2000mAh battery. The connectivity option includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. The other features of the Sansui Horizon 1 include a panic button which allows user to send an immediate distress signal along with the accurate location information using GPS in the case of emergency. Users can set the specific family and friends list to whom the emergency message need to be given.

The device measures dimensions at 136.6×68.7×9.75mm and weighs 126 grams. Lastly, Sansui has offered a 1 Year Warranty for the smartphone and 6 months on the accessories.

The launch of new smartphone players in the budget 4G handset space has been increased in past few months. Although, the budget mobiles with 4G connectivity may not affect the usage of feature phones yet. At the same time, the demand for 3G smartphones in the country has drastically decreased.
