The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone is expected to launch on March 29, thanks to the previous leaks. Now, the pricing of the smartphone is leaked as well. According to several reports, the details about the pricing of the Galaxy S8 smartphone have been received from a company insider. The tipster revealed that the South Korean and Chinese market will get the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant of Galaxy S8, whereas the Asian markets will get 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants with 6GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be available in 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage variant for Europe and rest of the markets. Coming to the pricing, the 6GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage variant will be priced at CNY 6,088 (roughly Rs 59,000) and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be priced at CNY 6,488 (roughly Rs 63,500).
Previously, a renowned tipster Evan Blass has leaked that the 5.8-inch version of the Galaxy S8 smartphone is expected to be priced at Euro 799 (roughly Rs 58,000). The larger variant with 6.2-inch display will be priced at Euro 899 (roughly Rs 65,000). He also mentioned that the smartphone will come with a 4GB RAM + 64GB of storage variant with expandable memory option via microSD card. He also mentioned that the higher end storage variants of the device are in line.
Furthermore, the press render of the device was leaked earlier by tipster SlashLeaks. The leaked render revealed thin bezels on the top and bottom of the device along with a dual-curved edge display. The image stated that no physical home key will be available on the device and the dedicated fingerprint scanner will be placed after the camera sensor. However, no confirmation of the details was received from the company so it might have come with a pinch of salt to it.
Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come in 5.8- and 6.2-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED display variants. The device will feature 18.5:9 aspect ratio on its display with curved edge design. The 5.8-inch Galaxy S8 model will be powered by a 3000mAh battery, whereas the larger model will come with a 3500mAh battery.
The smartphone is expected to boast the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor in select markets, while some markets will receive an Exynos SoC on the device. The Galaxy S8 is expected to offer a 12MP primary rear camera alongside an 8MP front shooter. In addition, the smartphone is likely to have an IRIS scanner. Samsung is also expected to offer its new digital assistant named as Bixby which will be competent to manage complex commands.
