Apple

Apple was established on April 1, 1976, by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne to sell the Apple I personal computer kit. Apple is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California. It designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services.  It was the first computer company to break with the kind of robust visual IBM. Steve Jobs decided to sell computers under the name of this fruit, in homage to the house music of the Beatles, which was named in the same way.

Samsung

Founded by Lee Byung-chull  Daegu, South Korea Samsung started out as a small trading company with forty employees. According to Samsung’s founder, the meaning of the Korean hanja word Samsung (三星) is “tri-star” or “three stars”. The word “three” represents something “big, numerous and powerful”. Samsung has a powerful influence on South Korea’s economic development, politics, media and culture.

Nokia

Nokia is a Finnish multinational communications and information technology company, founded in 1865. Nokia is headquartered in Espoo, Uusimaa, in the greater Helsinki metropolitan area. Nokia’s first fully portable mobile phone (after the Mobira Senator car phone of 1982) was the Mobira Cityman 900 in 1987. Nokia’s first camera phone was the 7650. The Lumia 920 was announced in September 2012, which was seen by the press as the first high-end Windows Phone that could challenge rivals, due to its advanced feature set. In September 2013 announced the sale of its mobile and devices division to Microsoft. But now, Nokia has confirmed their comeback into smartphone business market with its Android Phones

Karbonn

Founded by Pradeep Jain, Karbonn Mobiles Pvt Ltd is a telecommunications company in India that was founded in March 2009. It is a joint venture mobile manufacturing company between the Bangalore (United Telelinks Limited) and Noida (Jaina Marketing & Associates). Karbonn was listed 77th among 1200 of India’s most trusted brands in 2014. The conglomerate has its presence in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Middle East and Europe. The firm has launched 5.5 inch IPS display Karbonn K9 Virat on 26 August 2016.

Xiaomi

According to IDC, in October 2014 Xiaomi was the third largest smartphone maker in the world, following Samsung and Apple Inc. followed by Lenovo and LG. Later, Xiaomi became the largest smartphone vendor in China in 2014 overtaking Samsung. Today, Xiaomi Inc. is the world’s 4th largest smartphone maker is a privately owned Chinese electronics company headquartered in Beijing. It designs, develops, and sells smartphones, mobile apps, laptops, and related consumer electronics.

Oppo

OPPO Electronics Corp. or Oppo is a Chinese electronics manufacturer based in Dongguan, Guangdong. The term Oppo ‎is a Britain informal noun which means a friend, associate or colleague. Its major product lines include smartphones, Blu-ray players and other electronic devices. Founded in 2001, the company has registered the OPPO brand name in many parts of the world. The firm is a subsidiary of BBK Electronics Corporation that markets smartphones under the Oppo, OnePlus and Vivo brands.

Intex

Intex Technologies is an Indian Smartphone company founded in 1996. It is a consumer durables and IT Accessories manufacturer. Intex is headquartered in New Delhi, India. Intex is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company that manufactures Smartphone, IT accessories and consumer electronics durables. It has a portfolio of more than 16 product categories ranging from mobile handsets, wearable devices, home theater solutions, multimedia speakers, and DVD players, LED / LCD TVs, induction cookers, washing machines and more.
