Oppo F9 to go on Sale in India on September 15: Features & Specifications

Smartphone company Oppo announced its Oppo F9 smartphone when it had launched the F9 Pro smartphone. The company has finally revealed the availability of the smartphone in India. Both F9 and F9 Pro are similar in terms of design and specifications. The only features that set them apart are the RAM and front camera specifications. Apart from that, the F9 smartphone will also come with the fast charging feature.

Oppo F9: Price

The smartphone from the dual 4G VoLTE mobiles price list will go on sale in India on September 15, 2018, exclusively via Flipkart. It will be made available in a single 4GB RAM variant and will come with a price tag of Rs 19,990. Additionally, interested buyers will get the option to choose among the Mist Black and Stellar Purple colour variants.

The specifications of the smartphone include a 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop display with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor. As mentioned above, it will be available in a single 4GB variant paired with 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card).

Furthermore, it is powered by a 3500mAh battery and runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS 5.2 skin on top. The camera specifications include a dual camera setup on the rear panel. The setup will house a 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with support for HDR. Interestingly, the rear camera will allow users to take slow-mo videos of up to 720 pixels.

Connectivity features on the Oppo F9 smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, Micro USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Some of the sensors on the smartphone are a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer and a digital compass.
