Nokia P1 Leaked, Spotted with AMOLED Display, Metal Body and more.

While Nokia D1C is still the talk-of-the-town, a new Nokia smartphone has started surfacing on the internet. The news about Nokia P1 has appeared on Android Headlines and it has revealed some details about the upcoming mobiles. The Nokia P1 is rumored to be a high-end smartphone and it will be made in two variants. Furthermore, the flagship smartphone will feature 2K display and premium metal body.

To recall, Nokia was one of the largest mobile device companies in the world just years before. The company had been the pioneer cell phone maker for years, but it failed to adjust to the rapidly changing smartphone era. Nokia has continued to push the Symbian OS based mobile devices and later on they moved to MeeGo OS, which was again their own mobile operating system.

To match with the latest trends, almost all upcoming Nokia mobiles will be powered by Android. Recently, Nokia D1C has listed on GeekBench for multiple times, and it detailed the specifications and features of the upcoming mobile. Now, a report from China has leaked information about the Nokia P1 smartphone. The smartphone will be powered by Android operating system and will sport an IP68 certification to ensure the water and dust resistance of the device.

According to Android Headlines, the Nokia P1 will be offered in two variants based on the screen size- 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch models. Both the devices will feature QHD (1440×2560 pixels) AMOLED displays. Furthermore, the Nokia P1 will sport a metal body and it will come with latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Nokia’s Z Launcher on the top of it.

The Nokia P1 smartphone is expected to release in the market before the end of this year. The source has also claimed that the optics on the device will offer some really capable sensors, though the specifics of the same are to be received.

Moreover, the Nokia P1 might get equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 or 821 SoC and a minimum 4GB of RAM is also expected.

While so, the above news might have reported with a pinch of salt because we have seen rumors on Nokia’s android mobiles earlier as well. Previously, similar rumor of Nokia C1 has created a buzz for its variants in Android and Windows platform and later on the news was proved to be false.
