Nokia D1C Smartphone Spotted with Android Nougat on Geekbench

Nokia seems to be all set for its come back. The company has already announced its plans to release android phones in global smartphone market. Recently, a smartphone named as Nokia D1C has been listed on Geekbench. The site revealed that the latest mobile from Nokia will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and support a 3GB of RAM.

According to Geekbench listing, the Nokia D1C has received the highest score of 682 in single core testing while in multi-core testing the device got a score of 3299. The upcoming mobile will run on a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with Adreno 505 GPU,  a 3GB RAM and will run on Android Nougat OS. Besides this, no other specification has been provided yet.

Based on rumours, the upcoming mobile Nokia D1C is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. According to some reports, the company is planning to launch two upcoming mobiles with 2K display in China. In July, two Nokia upcoming mobiles with 5.2- and 5.5-inch OLED displays supporting 2K and QHD resolutions were leaked. Moreover, the devices were mentioned to be featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipsets. However, Nokia has not confirmed anything yet.

In addition, the upcoming Nokia mobiles are also rumored to come with IP68 certification with resistance to dust and water and a rock premium metallic design. The high-end device of the leaked duo is also rumored to come with a 22.6MP camera at its back.

The Nokia D1C is expected to be the mid-range model of Nokia while two other upcoming mobiles are said to be the flagship devices.

In case you haven’t heard about Nokia’s comeback, the company has signed a strategic agreement with HDM Global which is the Finnish-based Smartphone manufacturing company. The two companies are in agreement for a period of next ten years. HMD Global will manufacture the Nokia-branded smartphones and tablets for Nokia.

Considering this, Nokia will bring a whole new range of smartphones and tablets from next year.
