Nokia held a launch event a couple of days back where it introduced it’s Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone. Earlier, the company had decided that this smartphone will only be a China-exclusive product. However, seeing its popularity, Nokia decided to launch the smartphone in the global markets. The latest smartphone from the Nokia mobile price list will go on sale in the Indian markets on August 30, 2018, at 12 PM via Flipkart and the official Nokia website. Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 15,999.
Interestingly, it is the first Nokia smartphone to come with the Notch display. Along with a notch design, the smartphone also sports a glass design combined with a budget price tag. Moreover, the smartphone also runs on the Android One operating system, which means users will be able to enjoy the Stock version benefits of Android Oreo.
Nokia 6.1 Plus: Features & Specifications
The smartphone comes with a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The internal storage feature 64GB of storage which can be expandable up to 400GB with a MicroSD card.
Furthermore, it runs on the stock version of Android Oreo but will soon receive the Android 9 Pie update. Nokia 6.1 Plus is fuelled by a 3060mAh battery which supports the fast charging feature with a USB Type-C port.
The camera specifications include a dual camera setup on the rear panel. This setup features a 16-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. Additionally, the rear camera also supports panorama, beauty mode, Bokeh, AR stickers, and bothie. On the other end, the front camera comes with a 16-megapixel sensor which supports Bokeh. The company also claims that the front camera comes with AI features to help users take better pictures.
Connectivity features on the smartphone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, 4G VoLTE and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
