Xiaomi India is about to launch a slew of phones in the Indian mobile market. The company has recently sent out the media invites for a launch event which is scheduled on November 2. Here, the company is likely to launch a few new Xiaomi smartphones under the Mi and Redmi series. If that holds true, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has fair chance to get launched on November 2 in India.
Looking at the official invite, Xiaomi is expected to launch the Mi Note 3 smartphone in India. The Mi Note 3 resembles a lot with Xiaomi Mi 6; although, there is minor difference in both smartphones. The Mi Note 3 is most likely to be added in the new Xiaomi smartphones bandwagon which is headed towards India.
Furthermore, the invite shows a lighting symbol which either hints fast charging tech or powerful battery performance. Interestingly, the Mi Note 3 has support for Fast Charge 3.0 dual parallel technology and also packs a 3500mAh battery.
To recall, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display. The key highlight of the device is the ‘Adaptive AI Beautify’ feature which is an advanced algorithm based on AI to enhance the selfies. It uses a different algorithm for men and women and beautifies the selfies accordingly.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 comes in three variants- 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage model which costs CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 24,500), 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model at a price of CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs 28,400) for the Black colour option. There is also a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage Blue colour model which costs CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 29,500) in the Chinese market. Initially, the company may launch only one variant in India.
Xiaomi has previously launched the Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone under a new series in a Chinese market. It is the first Xiaomi smartphone to come with Android One features. For those who haven’t heard much about Android One, it is a platform designed and developed by Google. Using this platform, the users can get true Android experience. This phone could also make its debut in the Indian market.
In addition, the company is also likely to launch Redmi 5A smartphone in India. The phone is launched earlier this month in China. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A could also join the new Xiaomi smartphones list in the Indian market.
