Micromax Vdeo 4 Smartphone with 4G VoLTE and Google Duo Leaked

Micromax mobiles is about to launch new series of 4G phones with Google Duo video calling app pre-installed on them. The new 4G mobiles are set to be launched during the upcoming festive season. While the Micromax mobiles haven’t put a word about its upcoming mobiles, several reports are claiming that the smartphones will be priced roughly at Rs 5,700 mark.

According to a report from BGR India, one of the smartphones in Micromax’s budget 4G VoLTE mobiles series is named as Micromax Vdeo 4. Also, a retail box of the upcoming Micromax mobiles with a similar name has been received by them. Based on the image of the retail box, the Vdeo 4 will support 4G with VoLTE and will come with Google Duo app pre-loaded on it.

Furthermore, the smartphone could bear a metallic body with a brushed metal finish on it. The rear camera of the device is equipped with a LED flash underneath and the display size of the upcoming mobile looks like a 5.5-inch sized. However, other details of the upcoming mobiles are not mentioned by the report.

In addition, Micromax mobiles have posted a tweet which confirms its collaboration with Google to bring Google Duo pre-installed on their upcoming mobiles.

Google has launched its new video calling app dubbed as Google Duo to take on the similar services like Skype and FaceTime by Apple among others. The number of downloads for the Google Duo app has crossed 10 million marks in just a month on the Android platform. Google has announced India as its biggest market for the app alongside the US.

The collaboration in between two big companies like Google and Micromax is a win-win situation for both.

The app is making buzz due to its simplicity in use. The users are requested to register their mobile number once and they can start using the app for video calling right away.
