Although Chinese smartphone maker Meizu doesn’t have a large existence in the Indian market but has a strong presence in its home market. The company is expected to release a new smartphone in China called as the Meizu E2. The company is reportedly sent out the media invites in China for an April 26 event where it will launch the latest mobile.
Prior to this, there were rumours that Meizu will launch its Pro 7 smartphone on April 26, however, the company has confirmed that it will release the Meizu E2 on that day. The invite showcases the sketch of the upcoming mobile which provided the glimpse of a design of the phone.
According to a report by AndroidHeadlines, the Meizu E2 will feature similar looks as of the other Meizu mobiles which have been released in the past few years. The sketch reveals that there will be a physical home key on the front panel which is expected to be doubled as the fingerprint scanner. On the rear, there will be a primary camera module with LED flash accompaniment and a Meizu branding.

However, the other details about the Meizu E2 are very scarce at the moment. However, a new Meizu smartphone was recently spotted on TENNA certification website with a codename Meizu M612C which could be the Meizu E2. Additionally, the TENNA listing revealed that the smartphone will come equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor.
The Meizu E2 (Meizu M612C) will be offered in different variants depending on the internal storage and RAM capacity. The phone will come in 2GB of RAM + 16GB of internal storage, 3GB of RAM + 32GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM + 64GB of storage variants.

On the photography front, the Meizu M612C will offer a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie snapper. Moreover, the device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
While the Meizu E2 will launch on April 26, the another flagship Meizu Pro 7 is also expected to get released along with the Meizu E2. The handset will feature a 5.5-inch display. The device is expected to sports a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X30 deca-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
