LG’s New Smartphone LV5 Leaked Online, Seems like a Non-Modular G5

LG mobiles recently launched the LG V20 smartphone which is the company’s latest flagship device. The latest mobile offers the hottest and greatest specifications that are presently available in the market. Also remember that V20 is the first device to come with Android 7.0 Nougat OS out-of-the-box. But now, another smartphone from LG is making its way as several leaked renders about LG LV5 has been spotted online.

LG is about to announce a brand new android mobile phone which resembles the G5. The upcoming mobile is expected to be the LG LV5 smartphone. The alleged LV5 smartphone doesn’t seem to be a successor to the LG G5 smartphone, but it could feature a similar set of specifications with G5 except for the non-modular functions, though the surety about this can’t be made this early.

A renowned leakster, @OnLeaks has revealed some images which have provided a rough look of the upcoming mobile, LG LV5. The smartphone seems to have a slightly curved front panel similar to the G5, while the back panel shows a regular camera sensor with LED flash, a dedicated fingerprint scanner, and a speaker set at the bottom.

The rear cover of the device is reported to be a removable one which indicates that the device packs a removable battery. The other detailed specs of the device are not received yet. The upcoming mobile could belong to mid-range smartphone category. While the leaked images are received with a tentative name LV5, this could be just a codename and it might get changed before its release.

To refresh, the LG G5 smartphone was launched in April this year featuring a 5.3-inch (1440×2560 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The device is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 530, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.

The LG G5 offers a 16MP primary rear camera with LED flash, laser autofocus, f/1.8 aperture, and OIS. The secondary camera sports an 8MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the connectivity front, the LG G5 includes Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth, GLONASS, FM Radio, USB Type-C port, and OTG. Sensors on the board include fingerprint sensor, gyro, barometer, accelerometer, compass, and proximity sensor. A 2800mAh battery completes the package.
