LG will unveil its 2017 K-series Smartphones in India on February 22

LG mobiles announced its K-series of smartphones last year with a refreshed version of LG K3 (2017), LG K4 (2017), LG K8 (2017), and LG K10 (2017). And now, the company has sent out the media invites for an event on February 22 in New Delhi. The invite features a big ‘K’ written on it which hints the launch of smartphones in the K-series. All these smartphones offer similar set of specifications and are focused in the mid-range but at different price points.

Coming to the specifications, the LG K3 (2017) will feature a 4.5-inch display with FWVGA resolution powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It will also have microSD card slot for additional storage. On the camera front, the LG K3 (2017) offers a 5MP primary rear and a 2MP front camera for selfies. The device gets power from a 2100mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.

The LG K4 (2017) is a slightly upgraded version with a 5-inch display with FWVGA resolution. It will offer same hardware and software specifications as the K3. The only difference is in its camera module and battery capacity. It offers 5MP cameras both at front and rear. It has a larger 2500mAh battery.

As for the K8 (2017), if has a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and will run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It will offer external storage of up to 32GB via microSD card. The handset offers a 13MP primary rear camera and a 5MP selfie snapper. It is a 4G mobile with Wi-Fi, microUSB, Bluetooth, and other connectivity options. The 2500mAh battery completes the package.

Lastly, the LG K10 (2017) is the top-end mobile in the series which offers a 5.3-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The smartphone is accelerated by a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and has storage expansion up to 2TB via microSD card. On the photography front, it offers a 13MP primary rear camera alongside a 5MP selfie shooter. The device is powered by a 2800mAh battery. It also has a fingerprint scanner.
