LG has recently unveiled its new range of OLED TVs in the Indian market. The new product lineup includes five models- LG 77/65W7, 77G7, 65/55E7, 65/55C7, and 65/55B7. The prices of the new LG OLED TVs start from Rs 3.25 lakhs and goes up to Rs 30 lakhs in India. All these OLED TVs are competent to support Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, and HDR10 formats.
LG claims that these OLED TVs come with Active HDR which is rated to display the next-generation HDR content. Such content is designed to render brighter pictures and superior shadow details. The OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TVs also offers the self-lightening pixels to improve the picture quality.
Younchul Park who is the Director of Home Entertainment at LG Electronics India said in a statement that the new OLED TV range has brought unique and compelling revolutionary technology which is paving a way for the field of smart technology. With the new OLED TVs, the company is offering outstanding technologies and great aesthetics which will empower the Indian consumers, Park added.
The 2017’s range of OLED TV is powered by WebOS which is claimed to offer a seamless, gesture, voice commands, and intuitive navigation via scrollable Magic Remote.
To recall, the LG Signature OLED TV 4K 77W7P was awarded as the Best of the Best at the CES 2017 trade show. The Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support bring the true cinema-quality experience at home. The TV set is very thin and lights that it can be attached directly to the wall. The company calls it as a Picture-on-Wall design.
The LG Signature OLED TV 4K 77W7P features a massive 77-inch 4K UHD OLED TV display with 2160×3840 pixels resolution. The TV set comes with 4 HDMI (HDCP 2.2) ports, 3 USB, 1 Ethernet, 1 Optical, 1 RF In (Antenna/Analogue cable), 1 RS232C, and 1 Composite In ports. It has a 4.2 channel speaker system.
