Lenovo Z2 Plus may get Launched in India this September

Lenovo had launched its Z2 Plus smartphone in China back in May 2016. And now the smartphone is heading towards India with the Indian version named as Zuk Z2 very soon. The company has recently released a new teaser image on their official India twitter handle which indicates its release to India in this September.

The Chinese mobile maker, Lenovo on Monday released a teaser image on twitter with a caption “Impatience is a virtue”. Behind this caption, there is superimposed ‘Z’ letter which is pointing out that the upcoming smartphone could be the Lenovo Zuk Z2. However, there is no confirmation on the launch date of its upcoming smartphone is received from Lenovo.

Lenovo Z2 Plus could get launched in India this September

The Zuk series is popular among the geeks because of its specs and customization options. The upcoming device will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. The device features a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display along with 2.5D curved glass.

For the imaging purpose, the smartphone has a 13MP primary rear camera with features like PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, 4K video recording, and electronic image stabilization (EIS).  While on the front panel, it has an 8MP camera with 80 degrees wide angle lens and aperture support of f/2.0.

The phone comes with U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint scanner which has capabilities to recognize even wet fingerprints. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Dual-SIM card slots, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The Z2 smartphone runs on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS having ZUI 2.0 on the top. The device is powered by a 3500mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Though the device has 64GB of internal storage there is no option to upgrade memory using external cards.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus was launched in China with a price of CNY 1,799 which roughly indicates Rs. 18,400. Considering the price range, the upcoming smartphone from Lenovo will face competition from other devices like the Sony Xperia XA and OnePlus 2 to name a few.
