InFocus to Release Epic 1 Smartphone in India

InFocus mobiles India is all set to unveil a new smartphone in India called as InFocus Epic 1. The upcoming mobile appears on company’s official website where the registrations for the Epic 1 smartphone could be made. The upcoming mobile is teased with a tagline- “Oh My God !!– It’s a 10” which reflects a deca-core processor.

The InFocus Epic 1 smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 16M colors. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with InLife UI 2.0 on top. The InFocus Epic 1 smartphone will come equipped with a MediaTek MT6797 Helio X20 chipset coupled with Mali T880 MP4 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone also has up to 128GB of expandable storage.

The smartphone offers a 16MP primary rear camera with dual LED flash, natural tone, and PDAF. The device could record full HD videos at 30fps in 1080p resolution. The front-facing camera includes an 8MP sensor with dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture for a selfie and video callings.

InFocus to release Epic 1 smartphone in India

The 4G LTE Mobile InFocus Epic 1 supports dual-SIM and offers connectivity with the downlink speeds at 150mbps and uplink at 50mbps. Apart from this, it includes connectivity options like Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Direct.

One of the highlights of the upcoming mobile is its massive 3000mAh battery alongside a 1A charger. The company is claiming to deliver a talk time of up to 10 hours, music playback of 30 hours, video playback of 5 hours, and 500 hours of standby time with the device. Sensors on the board include G-sensor, light sensor and proximity sensor. The device measures dimensions at 153x76mm.

According to PhoneRadar report, the InFocus Epic 1 smartphone is expected to be available for purchase from October 25 onwards exclusively on Amazon India and the device will be priced at Rs 12,999.

Recently, InFocus had launched the Bingo 50+ smartphone in India with a 5.5-inch HD display. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core chipset, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It offers a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. The secondary camera includes an 8MP sensor on the front panel.
