Huawei P11 Rumoured to Come with 40MP Triple-Lens Rear Camera

Huawei, a leading smartphone brand may feature a triple-lens camera system on its next smartphone in the P-series. The phone is assumed to be called as the Huawei P11 is rumoured to be the first smartphone to sport a triple-lens camera on its rear.

Huawei is in partnership with the German camera maker Leica, which may be a hint that the company is looking to boost its phones camera performance. The camera system on the phone is believed to capture 40 MP pictures. The camera is also said to enable 5x hybrid zoom, which will rival the 2x optical zoom on most of the latest mobile phones in India. The front-facing or the selfie camera is believed to get a 24 MP shooter with low-light enhancement.

The Ad for the Huawei P11 smartphone mentions a new Pro Night Mode feature that will capture 100 percent more light for capturing amazing night scenes. Furthermore, the phone’s camera is said to have new optics to ensure improved low-light photography.

Huawei’s flagship Mate 10 series has already introduced AI scene recognition. With Huawei P11, the brand is introducing another new feature pro-AI camera assist with auto framing and instant scene recognition. The instant scene recognition feature can automatically change the camera settings to click the best possible picture depending on the surroundings and light.

This information was recently tweeted by a famous tipster Evan Blass and a digital artist at one of Huawei’s creative agencies. An interesting fact is that the promo material has been removed since the tweet which may be an indication that this information is important and legitimate. Though it is impossible to be sure at the moment, like all rumours even this should be taken lightly with an open mind.

Even though the specifications of the Huawei P11 have not been released yet, the phone is expected to sport a 5.8-inch tall display, a 3GHz 970 processor, 6GB RAM, 3200 mAh battery, MicroSD card slot and either a 64 GB or 128 GB internal storage. The Mobile World Congress in February might see the launch of this smartphone, which is strengthening its place with the triple-lens camera system.
