Gionee P7 with 4G VoLTE Launched

Gionee has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, named as the P7 which is priced at Rs 9,999. The company had launched the Gionee P7 Max smartphone previously and it is the latest addition to its ‘P’ series. The Gionee P7 is now available for purchase in across the major retail and online stores in the country.

The latest mobile, Gionee P7 is offered in White, Grey, and Latte Gold color options. The company says that the USP of the P7 smartphone is its unique design which includes a crystal clear 3D mirror at back with ripple effect pattern. The smartphone features inbuilt GIF creator, image-to-text recognition, and intelligent photo crop functions.

Coming to the specifications, the Gionee P7 smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with Soda Lime protection on top. The smartphone is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

For photography, the Gionee P7 offers an 8MP primary rear camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie snapper with screen flash which allows you to click some decent selfies in low light conditions. The smartphone is powered by a 2300mAh battery and runs on Android Lollipop OS with Amigo 3.2 on top. The smartphone include connectivity options such as dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Looking at the price and specifications, the Gionee P7 will face intense competition with the latest mobiles in the market. Gionee P7 will face competition from Lenovo K6 Power and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 smartphones.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display priced at Rs 9,999. The Smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexacore processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The device is accelerated by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

On the camera front, the Redmi Note 3 offers a 16MP primary rear camera alongside a 5MP selfie shooter. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS wrapped under MIUI 7. The device gets its juice from a 4000mAh battery.

Alternatively, the Lenovo K6 Power is a 5-inch smartphone priced at Rs 9,999. The device features full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display. The device is powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

For photography, the Lenovo K6 Power offers a 13MP primary rear camera with an 8MP selfie camera. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and comes with Vibe UI on top. The device is powered by a 4000mAh battery.

With the spread of Reliance Jio 4G services, many smartphone players are offering 4G VoLTE mobiles at very cheap and affordable prices. Reliance Digital has a range of smartphones with 4G VoLTE support which starts from Rs 2,999. The LYF Flame 6 smartphone is the cheapest 4G VoLTE mobile from Reliance Digital at a price of Rs 2,999.
