Flipkart has just started its ‘The Big Freedom Sale’ and there are huge discounts on best-selling smartphones and other consumer electronics. The sale is already live and it will go on until August 11. Here are some of the interesting deals and discounts from the first day of Big Freedom Sale.
Amazon India is also hosting its ‘Great Indian Sale’ on the occasion of 70th Independence Day of the country. However, the smartphones available on Flipkart are eligible for additional benefits when users purchase using an HDFC debit or credit card.
The users can get an instant discount of 10 percent on the purchase of above Rs 3000. It’s noteworthy that the maximum discount per transaction during the sale period is Rs 1,750.
The benefits for HDFC card holders is applicable on Samsung mobiles including Samsung Galaxy On Max, Samsung Galaxy On8, Samsung Galaxy On5, Samsung Galaxy A3, Samsung Galaxy On Nxt, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), and Samsung Galaxy J6 (2016). The offer is not applicable on Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Oppo mobiles, and Samsung tablets.

The most popular Xiaomi mobile, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is on sale during the Big Freedom Sale. The phone will be made available for continuous three days till the stock last. The phone is priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 9,999 depending on the variant you wish to buy.
Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus
While many popular mobiles in India are available for discounted price during Flipkart’s The Big Freedom Sale, the hefty discounts are available on Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, Google Pixel, and Google Pixel XL.
The iPhone 7 32GB storage model is getting 23 percent discount and now available for Rs 42,999. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus 32GB model is eligible for 15 percent discount and is available for Rs 56,999. Both models are entitled to additional discount of up to Rs 15,600 in exchange.
Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL
The Google Pixel is getting 24 percent discount and is now priced at Rs 43,000 during the sale period. The Google Pixel XL is priced at Rs 48,999 after a discount of 26 percent.
