New Range of 4K UHD HDR BenQ Projectors Launched in India

BenQ, a Taiwanese electronics company has expanded its projector products line up in India. The BenQ projectors namely CineHome Series W1700 4K HDR home cinema projector and CinePro Series W11000H projector were launched by the company recently.

The BenQ W1700 4K HDR home cinema projector comes with a price tag of Rs. 2.25 Lakhs. And the BenQ W11000H projector comes with a price tag of Rs. 4.5 Lakhs. Both the BenQ projectors come with the exclusive BenQ CinematicColor technology and RGBRGB colour wheel which ensures to bring out authentic colour reproduction.

The CinematicColor Technology is a colour engine that delivers cinematic colour accuracy that meets the film industry standards. This new technology starts at the origin of light, where BenQ uses new light sources with strict waveform analysis for perfect colour temperature.

The W1700 is a compact-sized CineHome projector and it is equipped with projection optimized HDR for better quality image and true 8.3 million megapixels. On the other hand, the CinePro Series W11000H projector comes with true 8.3 million pixels for 4K UHD performance.

Additionally, the CineHome projector comes with a THX certification which makes it suitable for experiencing commercial digital cinema. Both the BenQ projectors, W11000H and W1700 4K HDR home cinema projector provide High Dynamic Range (HDR 10) support to the 4K UHD visual quality for a higher contrast range and brightness.

Furthermore, the company also believes that the BenQ projectors with auto HDR optimization with natural HDR colour and tone mapping provide the users with lifelike visuals. Combining the advanced DLP 4K UHD DMD with XPR technology, the BenQ projectors can produce images with 3840 x 2160 distinct pixels for true 8.3-millionpixel 4K UHD resolution.

Also, the W1700 projector sports an auto keystone correction and 1.2X big zoom for users to enjoy a smooth viewing experience. The projector can be connected through an HDMI dongle such as Amazon Fire TV Stick or Google Chromecast to stream videos, movies, games and sports.
