ZTE mobiles has sent out invites for the launch of a new smartphone, ZTE Blade A2 Plus in India this week. The event is reported to take place tomorrow on Friday, February 3. It will be the first Smartphone to launch this year from the company.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus was launched in China last year. The teaser, also posted on Twitter by ZTE India which shows that the device’s half-back revealing the square shaped camera, flash and fingerprint scanner, sitting one below the other vertically. A separate tweet touts the smartphone’s battery performance. One of the biggest highlight of the device is its 4900mAh battery with fast charging feature. The ZTE Blade A2 Plus is available in Gold and Silver colour variants in China.
ZTE Blade A2 Plus Specifications
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus is a 5.5-incher mobile offering 1080×1920 pixels resolution with full-HD display. The ZTE Blade A2 Plus weighs 189 grams, and sports dimensions of 155×76.2×9.8mm. It is powered by the 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor coupled with 3GB / 4GB of RAM and Mali T860 GPU. The phone sports a 32GB internal storage that can be expanded further up to 128GB via the microSD card.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the ZTE Blade A2 Plus sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and dual-LED flash. The phone houses an 8-megapixel sensor with LED flash as well. The hybrid dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The 3GB variant was priced at CNY 1499 (Rs. 15,000) and the 4GB variant at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 17000) respectively. Let us wait to see what configurations and colors will make its way to India.
