Xiaomi Redmi 4 Launch, Price and Specifications – Offline Xiaomi buyers Rejoice!

Smartphone enthusiasts of India have showed their disappointment towards the flash sale model of Xiaomi followed by most of the other Chinese handset brands. Hence Xiaomi India is expanding its retail presence in India.  Chinese handset brands like Gionee and Oppo have invested heavily towards their offline retail model and as a result of it; the brands have ripened great sales. Xiaomi is also set to expand its offline presence in India.

Xiaomi India reported that 90% of its sales are coming from online channels whereas only 10% sale is happening offline. Hence the company has planned to double up its offline retail presence over the next few months.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Launch – Features and Specs

The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi Redmi 4 within a month. According to the leaks from Weibo (China-based microblogging site), Xiaomi will reveal its Redmi 4 smartphone on August 25. It also claimed that the phone will be featured with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The projected price of Redmi 4 is at CNY 699 which is Rs. 7,000 approximately.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is expected to feature a 5-inch Full HD 1920×1080 pixel display, full metal body design, 4100mAh battery with fast charging technology and a fingerprint scanner. It will operate on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the power of 3GB of RAM.

The supposed specifications of the phone have showcased on Geekbench’s database which indicates that the handset will have Snapdragon 625 SoC processor and an octa-core CPU paired with Adreno 506 GPU.

Online is a dominant channel for Xiaomi India. To boost the sales, they are trying to improve the offline retail presence in India. To serve the same purpose the company has partnered with Redington and now we have tied up with Just Buy live and Innocomm last month as per Mr. Manu Jain, Xiaomi India Head.

Mr. Jain further added that the company will now sell its goods with these two new partners through 5000 shops and has plans to double this number in coming few month. So we could expect the availability of Xiaomi Redmi 4 offline along with the online flash sale.
