Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 with Windows 10 Leaked Online

Xiaomi has launched the Mi Pad 2 tablet over a year ago and it seems that the company may launch its successor soon. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is expected to get launched by the end of this month. A few leaked promotional materials of the upcoming Xiaomi tablet have surfaced online to add solidity to it. The leaks not only revealed the design of the upcoming tablet, but also its expected price, features, and specifications.

The promotional material was first spotted by GizmoChina. Xiaomi is rumored to release the Mi Pad 3 on December 30. Talking about the price, the Mi Pad 3 will start at ¥1999 (roughly Rs 19,500) for the 128GB variant and ¥2299 (roughly Rs 22,400) for the 256GB variant. In comparison, the Mi Pad 2 was priced at ¥999 (roughly Rs 10,300) for the 16GB model and ¥1299 (roughly Rs13,500) for the 64GB variant.

Looking at the leaks, the Mi Pad 3 resembles a lot with the last year’s Mi Pad 2. It still comes with a metal unibody design, dual speaker grilles and USB Type-C port. But the noteworthy difference is in the larger 9.7-inch display which is the signature size of the Apple iPad Pro 9.7.

While so, the Mi Pad 3 is slightly thinner and lighter as it comes in a 6.08mm body and weighs 380 grams, whereas the iPad Pro comes in 6.1mm body and weighs 437 grams. Xiaomi is also expected to offer a removable keyboard dock for the upcoming tablet which is likely to be priced at ¥99 (roughly Rs 999).

Coming to the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is expected to feature a 9.7-inch display with 2048×1536 pixels resolution and pixel density of 264ppi. The tablet will be equipped with 7th Gen Intel Core m3-7Y30 processor coupled with 8GB LPDDR3 RAM. The tablet will run on Windows 10 and will include apps like Microsoft Office and Cortana.

For photography, the Mi Pad 3 will offer a 16MP primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper. The device will be powered by an 8290mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
