Vivo iQoo Specifications Leak on TENAA Ahead of Launch

A couple of weeks back, we saw Vivo announce its new sub-brand iQoo. Later on, it was also confirmed that the brand will launch its first-ever smartphone on March 1. There have been continuous revelations surrounding the Vivo iQoo smartphone. Now, just days before the launch, the confirmed Vivo iQoo specifications have been spotted on TENAA. All the confirmed specifications and features of the smartphone have been revealed.

The Vivo iQOO smartphone has been spotted online with the model number Vivo V1842A. Another variant of the smartphone Vivo 1824BA has also been spotted on Geekbench. Additionally, the listing also reveals that the smartphone will be made available in Blue and Red colour variants.  Earlier it was believed that iQoo would be a foldable smartphone. However, it has now been confirmed that it will be a gaming-centric smartphone. It will also be one of the in display fingerprint scanner mobile phones to feature a fingerprint sensor under the display.

From the images of the smartphone, it has been confirmed that iQOO will be one the triple camera mobile phones. The camera setup will be combined with a LED flash module. Furthermore, the images also reveal the volume buttons and power button on the right side of the device. Similarly, the phone is seen with a dedicated button for AI-powered digital assistant on the left side of the device.

Coming to the Vivo iQoo specifications, the smartphone will come with a 6.41-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The smartphone will be fuelled by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. On the storage end, the smartphone will be made available in 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM variants coupled with 128GB or 256GB internal storage. In 2018, 8GB RAM mobile phones were known for amazing multi-tasking speeds. However, 12GB RAM mobile phones are going to take this a step further!

For photography, it has already been confirmed that the smartphone will support a triple rear camera setup. This triple camera setup will include a 13MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary sensor and a 2MP sensor. On the other hand, the front panel will include a single 12MP camera for selfies and video calling.

Moreover, on the software end, the smartphone will run on the latest Android 9 Pie OS out-of-the-box. It will be further backed by a 3920mAh battery along with support for fast charging. However, there’s a chance that the smartphone might support a 4000mAh battery. There is a high possibility that Vivo will incorporate 44W fast charging on its Vivo iQoo smartphone.
