Sennheiser CX 6.00BT, HD 820 Lightweight Headphones Unveiled

Sennheiser has unveiled CX 6.00BT and HD 820, two new lightweight Bluetooth headphones at the CES 2018. The Sennheiser CX 6.00BT launched by the company is a wraparound Bluetooth earphone. Whereas the Sennheiser HD 820 launched by the company is a closed-back headphone.

Sennheiser CX 6.00BT Headphones: Specifications

The CX 6.00BT earphones are designed to take on the Apple BeatX in-ear headphones. The earphone is lightweight and comes with a proprietary speaker system which supports Bluetooth v4.2 connectivity and is compatible with Qualcomm apt-X audio.

The Qualcomm apt-X audio compatibility will improve the gaming and video watch experience as it keeps the audio transmissions in perfect sync with the visuals. Furthermore, the Sennheiser CX 6.00BT earphones will allow pairing with up to two devices at the same time, making it easy to swap between the computer and smartphone easily.

According to a report at Gadgets 360, the CX 6.00BT earphones also supports three-way calling through the available microphone and cVc noise cancellation technology. Additionally, the three-button remote on the earphones allows users to control calls and music.

When it comes to design, the earphone sports an around-the-neck cable along with a cable divider to improve the adjustment. The earbuds weigh as light as 14 grams. And the earphone comes with four different sizes of ear adapters to reduce ambient noise.

The CX 6.00BT earphone can last up to six hours on a single charge. Also, the company claims that the fast USB charging can fully charge the earphone in 1.5 hours and add two hours of battery life in the time span of 10 minutes. The Sennheiser CX 6.00BT is expected to go on sale in the US starting from this month with a price tag of $99.95 which is approximately Rs. 6,340.

Sennheiser HD 820: Specifications

Coming to the Sennheiser HD 820, the headphone is an upgrade to the HD 800 series. The newly launched headphone comes with Ring Radiator transducers with Corning Gorilla Glass along with curved glass covers to reduce ambient noise. The headphone is designed to reflect sound waves from the back of the transducer to two absorber chambers.

Furthermore, the Sennheiser HD 820 headphone sports gold-plated plus and silver-cladded OFC cables. The ear pads are said to be handcrafted from high-quality, non-allergic synthetic leather and microfiber material.

The Sennheiser HD 820 is expected to go on sale in the US starting somewhere in early summer with a price tag of $2,399.95 which is approximately Rs. 1, 52,400. There is still no official news regarding the launch date of the upcoming Sennheiser headphones in India.
