Samsung is reportedly planning to bring new smartphone in India under its Galaxy On series of latest mobiles. The Galaxy On series includes budget mobile phones such as On5, On5 Pro, On7, and On7 Pro. Now a teaser posted by Flipkart is indicating that the On series will receive a new member in it. The alleged smartphone was mentioned as the Samsung Galaxy On8 on Flipkart’s ‘Special thanks to our partners’ section.
According to the post, the smartphone will feature incredible display setup and will exclusively available on Flipkart. The post revealed that the Galaxy On8 will feature a full HD AMOLED display along with a long-lasting battery and a 3GB of RAM. But Flipkart has not revealed further details about the latest mobile. The Galaxy On8 smartphone is expected to be available during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale which is planned to start from October 2 to October 6.
The Samsung Galaxy On8 is likely to be a budget mobile phone similar to the other devices in the On series. Samsung has recently released the Samsung On5 Pro and Samsung On7 Pro smartphones priced at Rs 9,190 and Rs 11,190 respectively in India.
The Galaxy On series smartphones comes with features like S Bike mode, Turbo speed charging, Ultra data saving, and more which are specially made for Indian consumers. The Samsung Galaxy On8 is also expected to come with such features.
According to the report from PhoneRadar, the Samsung Galaxy On8 will be featured with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy On8 could be the first budget mobile phone to feature Super AMOLED display in the Galaxy On series. The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 1.5GHz octa-core processor coupled with a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
On camera department, the Galaxy On8 will sport a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash along with a 5MP selfie camera. An integrated fingerprint sensor is also suggested to be at the physical Home button of the device.
Coming to the price, PhoneRadar has estimated the price in between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 for the latest mobile from On series. As the company has not confirmed the official specifications about the Samsung Galaxy On8 smartphone, take this with a grain of salt.
