Samsung is all set to release the next Galaxy flagship smartphone as its launch date is today (August 23, 2017) itself. The new Samsung mobile will be called as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The South Korean OEM will be hosting an event in New York dubbed as Galaxy Unpacked 2017 event which will commence on 11 am EDT (8.30pm IST) on August 23.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Price and Availability
The Galaxy Note 8 smartphone is expected to cost EUR 1,000 (roughly Rs 75,500) in Europe. The shipping of the handset is likely to begin in September. It’s noteworthy that this is not the official price and we will have to wait until Samsung announces the official pricing details.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Specifications
The rumours and leaks suggest that the Galaxy Note 8 might feature a 6.3-inch Quad-HD (1440×2960 pixels) Infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9. The phone will boast an Exynos 8895 SoC, however, it will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC for the US variant.
For photography, there will be a dual camera setup of 12MP + 12MP sensors at the rear. One among the two sensors will come with dual-Pixel autofocus and f/1.7 aperture, whereas the second one will have 2x optical zoom capability with f/2.4 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to pack 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage and external storage of up to 256GB via microSD card. A 3300mAh battery will complete the package.
