Samsung Galaxy Note 7: India Launch, Price, Specifications & Top 5 New Features

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 7 which will go on sale in several countries this month. Price and availability details for various regions have been revealed. The handset is said to be priced at EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 52,300) in some European regions.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be launched in India on August 11; however, no pricing details are available yet. The smartphone is already up for pre- registration on the Samsung India website. The global sales for the Samsung Note 7 will start on 19th August and it is likely India will also get the same launch date as other major countries.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sports some impressive features and specifications. It comes with a 5.7-inch QHD dual-edge Super Amoled display and S Pen stylus. Under the hood the phone offers Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. It also sports an iris scanner feature that helps you unlock the phone with your eyes. Note 7 is the first phone to support HDR streaming and its S-Pen is now water and dust resistant along with more precision.

The pressure sensitivity on S Pen has been increased as well. The S Pen lets you create gif images from videos. Other additions include new Air Command functions for magnifying and translation.

    Galaxy Note 7 is the first to access to the Samsung Cloud service which was unveiled simultaneously at the launch. The Korean giant is giving 15GB of free storage to the buyers of the phablet users to backup the data on their devices. The cloud service also lets you transfer data, apps, layouts between devices.
