The Chinese smartphone company, Oppo has launched the new Oppo F1s smartphone exclusively for selfie lovers at an event held in Mumbai on Wednesday, 3rd August, 2016. Highlight of the smartphone is undoubtedly its 16MP front-facing camera with a 1/3.1-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture capabilities.
The Oppo F1s smartphone is priced at Rs. 17,990. It will be available on Amazon India and retail stores across the country from August 11.
Features and Specifications – Oppo F1s
Oppo F1s features a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 Protection. It has MediaTek MT6750 chipset Octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB ROM that can expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The dimensions of phone are 154.x76x7.38mm and weights 160 grams.

Another key feature of the smartphone is the front-facing fingerprint recognition that recognizes a fingerprint and unlocks the phone in just 0.22 seconds. The fingerprint sensor is integrated with the physical ‘Home’ button which is in the middle of capacitive ‘Recent Apps’ and ‘Back’ buttons.
The Oppo F1s is featured as a ‘Selfie Expert’ by the company stating that the 16MP front camera is ideal for clicking some really good looking selfies. And the primary rear camera comes with 13MP PDAF autofocus camera with dual LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. The phone runs on ColorOS 3.0 which is developed on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The phone has a 3075mAh battery.

Talking about connectivity options, the Oppo F1s includes 4G LTE, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth v4.0. Sensors on the F1s include proximity, ambient light, accelerometer and digital compass. The smartphone will be available in Gold, Grey and Rose Gold color variants.
