Nokia P1 with Snapdragon 835, Ceramic Body Coming at MWC

The new Smartphone from Nokia flagship powered by a Snapdragon 835 chip is to be expected at MWC 2017. Earlier as per the rumors the expected smartphone was tipped as Nokia 8. However, later on, Qualcomm debunked that assertion and now the expected Nokia flagship smartphone is actually called Nokia P1. The new Nokia phone is expected to packs lot many features than we could have ever thought.

Nokia P1 Specifications

As per the rumor mill that originated from Russia, the Nokia P1 is said to incorporate Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The Nokia P1 is said to sport a 5.3-inch IGZO display with a refresh rate of 1 to 120Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 shall be used to further protect the display.

Nokia P1 is based on Sharp Aquos Xx3 and packs some features found on the Aquos Xx3. Under the hood the smartphone is rumored to come with 6GB of RAM and internal storage of 128GB and 256GB respectively. The mobile shall house a 22.6MP rear camera identical to the Sharp Aquos Xx3. It shall offer ZEISS optics certified by Carl. Other features include a 3,500mAh battery with Quick charge, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.

Unique Feature

There are two versions of the upcoming mobile based on the material used to manufacture the body. The high-end version with 256GB storage will be flaunting a beautiful ceramic body, whereas the other version with 128GB storage shall feature a metal frame. The mobiles are said to have IP55/ IP 57 protection standard.

Price

As far as the pricing is concerned we can expect the Nokia P1 phone with 256GB version to come at a hefty $950 price tag. The 128GB version of the phone shall be price around $800.
