Micromax has just launched another smartphone on Friday, 5th August, 2016 in its Canvas Unite series, the Canvas Unite 4 Plus with the price tag of Rs. 7,999. The fingerprint sensor, 12 Indian regional language support with Indus OS 2.0 and 4G LTE are key features of the smartphone.
Micromax said that the Unite series has crossed the sale of over 2.5 million units till date and is the most successful product range for the company.
The new Unite 4 Plus sports an all metal body design. The phone features Indus OS 2.0 which is the first OS that supports 12 Indian regional languages. Also it has text-to-speech support for 6 Indian regional languages including Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali and Telugu. The Indus 2.0 OS has an App Bazaar which offers Indus-to-Indus free messaging services, text to speech technology, and Indus Swipe feature. Unite 4 Plus will come in Champagne, Grey and Silver color variants.
More on this, the Unite 4 Plus has a unique hybrid keyboard feature which enables users to mix the English and regional language words while typing on it.
Coming to the specifications, Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Plus comes with a 5-inch HD display (720×1280 pixel resolution). The phone has 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with a 2GB of RAM. It runs on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with the internal storage space of 16GB which further can be expanded up to 64GB using microSD cards. The device is powered with 2500mAh battery.

The primary camera of Unite 4 Plus is an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash along with a 5MP front camera for selfie snappers. The fingerprint sensor is present right on the home button which brings an extra security feature to the smartphone. It has connectivity options like 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, FM Radio, micro-USB and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensor on the device includes a proximity sensor, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.
