The company had brought up a few successful smartphones in the series so far, and the latest mobile in the series is Honor 8. Previously, the company had launched Honor 5X last year in October that also grabbed a great success. And now, some rumors are indicating the possibility of a successor to the Honor 5X smartphone.
According to rumors, the Honor 6X smartphone might get launched on October 18. Huawei has not announced anything regarding the Honor 6X smartphone, but if the rumors are true, then the company will surely announce a press conference to address the upcoming mobile in coming days. The recently announced Honor 8 has sold over 1.5 million units within a few months.
The upcoming mobile was recently spotted on Chinese certification site, TENNA which revealed some tech specs alongside. The mid-range smartphone device appears to feature a dual-camera setup with single LED flash on the rear panel and also a powerful front-facing camera is expected on the device.
The Honor 6X might sport a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 2 or 3 GB of RAM and 32GB of primary built-in storage.
The upcoming mobile is likely to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The device will feature dual-SIM support with 4G LTE. It will have USB Type-C port. Based on the image posted with the listing, the device seems to flaunt a metal body design which will provide a premium feel for the mid-range device.
The Honor 6X is anticipated to sport more superior features than the Honor 5X. To recall, the Honor 5X has a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display. The device is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
The device has a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash and autofocus features. The camera performs popular features like touch focus, panorama, face detection, geo-tagging, HDR, and other. The secondary camera of the device features a 5MP camera at front panel.
